Traditional tutoring services are expensive and aren't always available when students need them. We are here to change that. We are working to create a service on-par with a human tutor, but available 24/7, at a fraction of the cost.

The Current Education Landscape:

Artifical Intelligence—the Large Language Model in particular—has brought education to unprecedented territory. These language models, or LLMs, are trained on an enormous wealth of knowledge. At a simplified level, they work by evaluating probabilities, asking "Based on my training data, what word—out of my whole vocabulary—has the highest probability to be used next in my response?"

As scientists improve LLM training techniques, we have seen them become increasingly skilled at step-by-step reasoning. They are conversational by nature, and can adapt to a student's individual needs for pacing, aptitiude, and even emotions, all while solving complex and difficult problems. It's no wonder the whole world is changing around them.

Any powerful tool in human hands can lead to mixed outcomes. Education today faces a crisis as AI has become so good at servicing answers that students of all levels frequently use it to cheat. Despite the emergence of the best learning tool to date, some students are learning less than ever.
